“How much will my website cost?” is the first question almost every client
asks, and the honest answer is that nobody can give you a single number
without knowing what the site has to do. What we can do is show you
the real ranges by project type, and — more usefully — what actually moves
the price.
Typical 2026 ranges by project type
These are market ranges for a professionally built website in Egypt and
Saudi Arabia, delivered by a studio rather than a freelancer working from a
template:
- Brochure / corporate site (5–10 pages): a clear
structure, a service page per offering, a contact path and basic SEO.
This is the entry point for most service businesses. - Professional marketing site with a custom design,
copy structure, blog, on-page SEO and performance work. - E-commerce store: products, categories, cart, payment
gateways, shipping rules, tax and an admin panel your team can actually
use. - Custom web application or platform: logins, dashboards,
integrations and business logic — priced per feature, not per page. - Ongoing care: updates, backups, monitoring and content
changes, usually a monthly retainer.
What actually drives the price
Price is a function of effort, and effort comes from five things:
- Number of unique designs. Ten pages built from four
layouts is closer to four pages of design work. Every genuinely new
layout costs again. - Content readiness. If copy, photos and product data
arrive ready, you pay for building. If we have to research, write and
source everything, you are buying a strategy and content project too. - Integrations. Each payment gateway, shipping API, CRM
or ERP connection is its own small project with its own testing. - Performance and SEO depth. A site that loads in under
two seconds on a mid-range phone and is technically clean takes real
engineering — image pipelines, caching, markup, schema. - Who builds it. A studio carries a process, a
guarantee and support after launch. A very cheap quote is usually a
template plus a deadline, with none of those.
Why the cheapest quote usually costs the most
A website is not a one-off purchase. It is the asset that represents your
business for years. A cheap template site typically fails in three places:
it does not rank, it does not convert, and it cannot be extended when the
business grows — so it gets rebuilt from scratch within two years. You pay
twice, and you lose the traffic built in the meantime.
The better question is not “what does a website cost?” but “what does this
website need to achieve, and what is that worth to me?” A store doing serious
monthly revenue should be priced against that revenue, not against a
template.
How to get a quote you can compare
- Ask for a scope, not just a number: pages, layouts,
integrations, and who writes the content. - Ask what happens after launch — warranty, support,
training. - Ask who owns the hosting, the domain and the code.
- Ask for real sites they built and open them on your
phone.
